We are looking for a passionate/skilled chef to join our Kitchen team. Main Responsibilities will include: Preparing quality, fresh, homemade food on a daily basis for our daily café service and conferences. Planning a suitable range of seasonal food. With a mix of hearty homemade classics and daily specials. Ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Working alongside our current kitchen team and Front of House Manager to ensure a consistent service.
We have an increasing amount of private functions outside of our café operation therefore flexibility and availability is crucial.
Front of House Team
We are looking for positive, hardworking individuals to join our Front of House Team .Main Responsibilities include: Providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Serving a range of food and drinks in our café. Delivering food and beverages to our conference guests. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Cleaning and preparing our café for daily use.
The catering we now offer at Ushaw has developed beyond a café service. We have a very busy schedule so flexibility and availability is crucial. You will be required to adapt to suit the needs of all events. Responsibilities vary from our daily serving in the café to silver service in The Parlour for special events.
